Veteran Benefits at Blackhawk Technical College
Any students who have determined eligibility to receive veteran education benefits and want to use them at Blackhawk Technical College must:
- Notify the School Certifying Official of the benefits they are eligible to receive and their intent to use them at Blackhawk.
- Be accepted into and attend courses in a program approved for veteran benefits.
- Maintain academic progress within their program of study.
- If a student is in an academic program with flex courses, the student should promptly notify the School Certifying Official of the first date and last date of attendance in each course upon completion.
- Post-9/11 GI Bill®, Montgomery GI Bill, Montgomery GI Bill-Selected Reserve and Survivors’ & Dependents’ Educational Assistance students are required to verify their enrollment to continue receiving their payments. Read more at va.gov/education/verify-school-enrollment/ Affairs.
